Infusion Treatment

We provide infusion therapy for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Medications include Remicade, Orencia, Actemra, Benlysta, Reclas, Cimzia, nd Prolia.

If you are scheduled for Intravenous Infusion Treatment, you are going to be seen by physician and infusion nurse. You must be present 10-15 minutes before your appointment and may be required to stay 30 minutes up to 60 minutes after the treatment. The time needed for your infusion will depend on the medication.

Times will range between one hour for most medications and up to 3 hours for others. If you need premedication for your infusion, and if this is your first infusion session, please bring a family member or friend with you.

Who Should Get a Bone Density Scan?

A bone density scan is recommended for individuals who may be at risk of osteoporosis or bone loss. Women over the age of 65 and men over 70 should consider getting tested, as bone density naturally decreases with age. Additionally, those with a history of fractures, long-term steroid use, or a family history of osteoporosis are at a higher risk. If you have conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid disorders, or low body weight, a scan can help assess your bone health and prevent future complications.
